We are keen to engage with as many new and existing members as possible. The benefits of contributing to WiM UK not only help broaden your current skill set but also build an invaluable network and meet fantastic people in the mobility industry!

All contribution opportunities have been structured to deliver no more than 4 hours per month work load and we’d be happy to train you on any software or other skills as required. There is probably a little more work at the beginning, to set up new templates etc., but once that is done the workload should be minimal. All roles can also be shared!

Community Manager

Set up automated welcome email to new members
Reach out to new members, make them feel welcome, find out if they have any specific requests regarding conversation topics, networking connections, events etc.
Run occasional member surveys

Set up newsletter template
Create and send monthly member newsletter

Podcast Creator

Record and edit podcast episodes

Social Media Manager

Update our LinkedIn company page and group page with latest WiM news
Regularly share member and industry news
Encourage members to invite their relevant connections

Update website when needed

Volunteering for a charity can provide you with a sense of purpose and community, help you make new friends, improve self esteem, learn new skills, improve your career prospects and most importantly it’s fun! We (Annie, Olga and Sandra) have run WiM UK for over three years now and it’s been a blast :) All it takes is someone who can dedicate a few hours per month to help us grow and manage this amazing network of talented and fabulous women in the transport sector.
